Use a picture of a skull or a cemetery as your phone screensaver for a week. Trust me on this! (Let it freak people out.)

Take a couple of minutes and write down what feels serious in your life right now. Maybe it’s:

•money worries?

•job security?

•health issues?

•an unhappy marriage?

•a disagreement with a friend?

Let it all out. Don’t hold back! This in itself can lighten the serious-seeming load on your shoulders. Freewrite for as long as you need.
